Michael Clarke to announce retirement after Ashes 2015 Michael Clarke to announce retirement after Ashes 2015 Australian Test skipper Michael Clarke has confirmed that he is will be retire from an international cricket once the current Ashes series concluded at the Oval.

The 34-year-old batsman will play for his country for the final time in the fifth Test at the Oval. 

Cricket Australia confirmed the news shortly after England won the Ashes with 78 run victory in the fourth Test at the Trent Bridge:

Clarke's wife Kyly has paid tribute to her husband after the right-handed batsman announced his retirement:
